| Item Description: | England, late 14th century. Both works falsely attributed to Hugo de St Victor: text beginning f.3r is a collection of exempla from the fables of Odo of Cheriton, and text beginning f.13r is from the 'Speculum laicorum' of John of Hoveden.
f.3r: Incipit: 'Aperiam in parabolis os meum loquar propositiones ab initio' f.13r: Incipit: 'Abstinentie triplex est species. Prima est ciborum et potuum moderatio'. Works completed by two separate scribes. First quire is of parchment, rest of work on paper. Previous number M3.6.10; V3.4.21. |
