Inscribed on front endleaves: 'for the [R]ight hon'; Don Edmunius Magnesius', 'Ego ...', several inscriptions in Latin including: 'Eugenio Matth[aw] ... Charle' and crossed out and blotted inscription '[for it becomes ...]' On title page: 'pretiu[m] vjd' and scraped away shelf mark. 'Char: Newburgh' written on first page of book 1. Small number of annotations (some faded) in Latin, possibly in different hands, and underlining. Some doodles and annotations on back pages stuck together. Number within a lozenge- '12' on back pastedown. |
