  • Four envelopes containing correspondence and notes relating to the documents returned to the Reformed Church of La Rochelle in 1862. Each envelope has a written description of contents in a different hand:.
  • Envelope (1) contains two items: a written copy of the letter from R. Travers on behalf of the Governors of Marsh's Library to the President of the Consistory of the Protestant Church of La Rochelle dated 27th February 1858 and a letter with its own envelope from Henry S. Mecredy to Rev. Thomas Cradock on the 22nd of May 1860 concerning the authorization of the handling of the documents.
  • Envelope (2) contains one item: a copy of a three page letter in Latin from R. Travers to the Consistory of La Rochelle on the 27 Feb. 1858, with a note pasted to it from T.P. Le Fanu to Dr White on the 2nd Jan. 1937.
  • Envelope (3) contains two items: a written copy of the letter from R. Travers on behalf of the Governors of Marsh's Library to the President of the Consistory of the Protestant Church of La Rochelle dated 27th February 1858 and a letter with its own envelope from Henry S.
