A Commonplace book containing (inter alia) an account of a disputation between George Dowdall, Archbishop of Armagh and Edward Staples, Bishop of Meath on the antiquity of the Mass, held in the presence of Sir James Crofts. Lord Deputy in 1552 at St. Mary Abbey, Dublin. Also Severall memorialls of the Lord Cecills [1564] transcribed out of a book of his by John King, Minister and Dean of Tuam. Anno 1656. Being a list of contrivances and conspiracies of the Church of Rome against her Majesty and the established Church of England.
