NO  - Five of the twelve letters are signed 'J', the other seven are unsigned. 
NO  - A note by Newport J.D. White on the envelope containing the letters reads:
'Letters from a cousin, ^Journeau^ husband of Blandinette, 
who signs himself J in later letters
not Journeau I think who married Marie.
also Journeau was in prison'
The 'Marie' mentioned by NJDW would seem to be Marie Richard, Bouhéreau's sister-in-law.
