Summary of the text: One of the officers of the Chamber of the Edict of Castres addresses the king in the name of all the representatives of the Reformed Religion to ask him for an audience and to beg him not to have the chamber moved to Castelnaudary, as well not to take away their functions within the chamber since that would also mean losing their property.
