First recorded meeting held at Friendly Brother House [22 St Stephen’s Green, Dublin]. Minutes list attendees and relate to administrative matters such as election of officers, memberships (names of those proposed for membership and those admitted to the Knot), and financial matters. Minutes 9 November 1846 discuss the giving of the charity fund to the unnamed daughter of Br Jn Plunkett [Brother John Plunkett], Dublin Knot. ‘County Dublin Knot, Charles F [Friendly] Janns RN President Alexr [Alexander] James F [Friendly] Ferrier Secry [Secretary]’ on front cover.
