Item Description: | On front guard written in ink: "our Salvation is in the Life of Jesus christ in us". 'P' and '[J. Sta...]' (autograph?) written on title page. Extensive annotations in English in ink. Includes 16 pages of transcription of the missing printed pages followed by a poem in a different hand: 'What may I call thee, or what is thy name That lou'd the mysterie, and tooke this paine. That rather then these pages, lost should be, With pleasure, doubtless, they were pen'd by thee. Also 'Mary' is written in red pencil in large letters on page 54-55. Manicules and margins have been drawn in red pencil. |
