Binding Note: | Binding: Dublin gold-tooled red morocco, with broad gold-tooled border, using a trophy tool which Craig illustrated (Fig. 7); in McDonnell and Healy it is identified as Joseph Leathley's No. 1. A bird tool is also used in the border. The spine had five bands and six gold-tooled compartments, with a black lettering-piece in the second. Comb-marbled endleaves and gilt edges. |
