There were two editions of this dictionary of hunting and outdoor recreational sports: 1735 and 1744. Enlarged editions were published under a slightly different title throughout the second half of the century.

Of the 28 copies of this 1735 text which survive across the world, this is the only one in Ireland. It was purchased in November 1933 to replace a copy which had been noted as missing from Marsh’s Library in 1766.
