Includes 'A Table of many matters conteined in this booke, Collected and gathered together by Thomas Paynell pretst'. Includes 'The life of John Picus Erle of Myrandula ... translated out of Latin into Englishe by maister Thomas More'. Inscription on title page dated 1589 scribbled out. Also written on title page: 'vita mea [chris]t][us]s' and 'natura nobis commorandi [...] habit[...]di (faded) dedit'. Some underlining and few annotations (some trimmed) in Latin. Pages have been trimmed. Marsh's Library stamp on title page. Note on front flyleaf: 'This copy does not contain the blank leaf after the Table, nor the unpaged leaf referring to the printer's errors between Cc5 and Cc6'. |
