Item Description:On first flyleaf (former pastedown) : 'Charlott Mordaunt' in light ink and 'Irenicum / Origines Sacrae' in black ink. On second flyleaf : 'E Libris [W]il. Fitzgerald' followed by his motto in Greek '' 'εν μέσω η αρετή' (In the middle stands the truth) from Aristotle. On first endleaf : ink and pencil page references in English and Greek.
On t. p. an annotation in Greek : 'πάντα δοκιμάζετε τὸ καλὸν κατέχετε' (Prove all things, hold fast that which is good. From 1 Thessalonians 5:21). Very few markings in pencil in the margins.
