Item Description:Vol. 1 & 2 : Black and red t. p. with Plutarch portrait. Engraved frontispiece.
Vol. 1 : Pencil markings in the margins and underlined passages. Latin and Greek annotations in ink in the margins. A lot of cross references to Bouhéreau's notebook 'C' (now lost) in the margins. Latin annotation on endleaf verso about Aesopi and referring to p. 1041.
Vol. 2 : on flyleaf there are 2 cross references to Bouhéreau's notebook 'B' (now lost). No annotations. The only markings in the margins indicate the two passages mentioned in the cross references to the diary (p. 362 and 664).
