| Item Description: | England, [1340-1400]. Incomplete pocket Bible. Evidence of cropping. The books of the Vulgate are out of standard order, on the part of the scribe as well as inaccurate arrangement of quires. Several books from Old and New Testaments missing also. Manuscript also contains alphabetical list of names that appear in Bible, with each entry accompanied by a brief description of that person. Beginning f.92r, 46 fols. Decoration appears to have been unfinished, with space left for work. f.28v: Decorated initial of column representing letter I in blue, yellow and brown inks. f.38v: Decorated initial of column representing letter I in yellow and brown inks. f.48v: Historiated initial of eagle on letter I in blue, red, green, and brown inks to open the gospel of John.
