Summary of the text: This letter addressed to the king is a response from the Protestants to the previous text concerning the “Reformed Project”. Despite their unwavering loyalty to their king, they must pay homage to God and this is very difficult for them under the conditions dictated by the Edicts and Decrees. They therefore ask the king to annul the Declarations, Decrees and Judgments which prevent them from exercising their faith.
