| Item Description: | 'This volume contains at the end transcripts of Visitation minutes from 8th-50th visitation (1715-1754). There were no visitations in 1716, 1722 & 1746' in ink on first flyleaf in 20th century hand [Newport B. White]. Bound 'dos-à-dos'. From the front contains 231 leaves of Marsh's accounts. Reversed and at 180 degrees, 5 leaves entitled 'Catalogue des pièces importantes aux églises réformées de France, et qui mérite d'etre conservé soigneusement'. This is a list of some of the records from the consistory of the Huguenot Church in La Rochelle deposited in Marsh's by first Librarian Élie Bouhéreau and returned to La Rochelle in 1862. 28 leaves of minutes of the Visitation of the Guardians and Governors from 1715-1754 (see ML 31, Visitation book of the Guardians and Governors, 1708-1924) 'R7.7.1' on first flyleaf. |
