Formerly used in binding of Arthur Duck, 'Vita Henrici Chichele Archiepiscopi Cantuariensis' (Qxoniae, 1617), shelfmark D2.8.36. Formerly numbered 46. Fragment from the sanctoral of an antiphoner, containing the feasts of St Edmund and of St Cecilia; St Edmund's presence suggests a provenance of the British Isles. Some damage down central fold from former use as binding. Two columns of text. |
