Minutes list attendees and relate to administrative matters such as election of officers, memberships (names of those proposed for membership and those admitted to the Knot), and financial matters. Volume begins with a list of Knots and Patents “granted towards promoting the Order of St [Saint] Patrick”. It provides the minutes for a meeting, dated 17 May 1750, presided over by his Benevolence Sr [Sir] John Friendly GP [Grand President], where medals were discussed. Meeting held 17th November 1856, discusses a statue for General Blakeney [?William Blakeney, d.1761].
