Note states on opening page: 'On the 17th May 1753 a Patent [charter granted to establish new Knots] was granted to the Revd [Reverend] Thomas f [Friendly] Leland for a County of Armagh Knot which Patent was [...] not put in use as we have no record of a Knot and I find that on the 17th June 1752 a Patent for a County Armagh Knot was granted to John f [Friendly] Bambridge...' Volume refers to members c. 19 June 1824-4 October 1842.
