Fields include: members’ name; Knot; date admitted and initiated into the Order, date elevated to Regular Brother status; if an application is rejected the date is provided; ‘observations’ are also recorded (sometimes occupation or if a member has died). Note states on opening page: 'On the 17th May 1753 a Patent [charter granted to establish new Knots] was granted to the Revd [Reverend] Thomas f [Friendly] Leland for a County of Armagh Knot which Patent was [...] not put in use as we have no record of a Knot and I find that on the 17th June 1752 a Patent for a County Armagh Knot was granted to John f [Friendly] Bambridge...'
