Bartholomei Brixien[sis]. in vrbe Basilien[si]. per Nicolaum Kesler Ciuem eiusdem studiosisssime Impressi finiunt feliciter .v. Idus Augusti. Anno salut[is] millesimo quadringentesimo octuagesimo nono'. Under the colophon is Kesler's device: a double shield tied to a branch with three kettlehooks on the left and on the right a 'K' with a cross extending out to the right. 2o: a 8 b8 c6 d8 e6 f8 g6 h8 i6 k8 l6 m8 n6 o8 p6 q8 r6 s8 t6 v8 x6 y8 z6 [et]8 [con]6 [tur]6 [rum]8 (-[rum]8). [Rum]1 is unsigned with running title 'Distinctio III' and m4 is signed m3 and has been corrected with ink. Small number of annotations, manicules and underlying. Insect on r2r. Type was not set properly on t6r. Pages have been trimmed with the loss of some annotations. Proof of cutting on [con]2v. Marsh's Library stamp on a2 and front flyleaf. |

Binding Note: | Rebacked with modern endleaves. Light brown leather with double fillets along edges of board and inner frame of three fillets with four cornerpieces. Metal clasp for chain on lower edge beside spine. Red-stained edges. Spine has five raised bands with narrow roll and fillet in blind on top and bottom of spine and each band. |
