Item Description:Endleaf v. covered with annotations in Latin (one Greek inscription) in a 16th century hand. A few pen trials.
Writing frame in red ink. Marginal and interlinear annotations until fol. 19v.
Printed text has added to it 16 unnumbered + 22 fol. of ms student lecture notes relating to the text. 2 parts : - First unnumbered fol. to fol 17 : 'Annotata a domino Bicartone in M. T. C. Partitiones data et a me Borito collecta anno [domini] 1586'. Excipit fol. 17 : 'Hoc lectiones a me Samuele Borito fu[erit] ma[nu] mia cum diligentia collectae, et a proestantissimo, et omni virtutis genere praedito Domino G. Driophe[s] dictatae anno salutis 1587 in christianissima [Bercorii] urbe [...]' followed by Samuele Boritus signature and 2 verses from Beda, De Arte Metrica, XV ('Gloria magna Patri, semper tibi gloria nate. Cum sancto Spiritu, gloria magna Patri.') - Fol. 17v-22v : 'Praefatio in descriptiones philosophiae naturalis'. '1587' on fol. 3.

Binding Note:Dark brown leather binding with single gold fillet and central gold oval stamp. 'Samuel' stamped on upper board and 'Boritus' on lower board.
