Copy 2, vol. 2 : in ink on title page 'Emptus fui ab io 1630'
Copy 2 volume 2: Note in ink [17th century hand] on front endpapers 'Julius obsequius de .[..?] dig[?]s' . On back endpapers, possibly in same hand, beginning 'In St Peter Church in St Albans' followed by the epitaph of Richard Skipwith found in that church.

Binding Note:Copy 1 vol. 1 & 2 : same binding as the Siciliae antiqua by Philippus Cluverius. Gold tooled leather binding with double fillets round perimeter. Headband missing. Title gilded on second compartment : 'Ital. antiq. Cluveri. T. I.' and 'Ital. ant. Cluveri. T. II.'. Other compartments gold tooled with an ornament in the center of a double fillet frame. Red speckled edges. Copy 2 volume 1 & 2: Medieval manuscript parchment guards in Latin.
