Item Description:Title within double rules. Woodcut initials. Some headlines cropped, small tears in title, slight worming in upper cover with one hole through to first few pages, otherwise a good copy. Binding: contemporary mottled calf, upper joint cracked but firm, red leather box. Bookplates of Charles O'Connor (1753), Francis Mary Richardson Currer and Henry J.B. Clements. Signature of Charles Clay, some defaced signatures on title. Lacks leaf before title, in most recorded copies it is blank, but there are some examples, including the other copy in the library, where this preliminary leaf has notes on the Irish type.
