See the description in Christie's note in an archival envelope. A single scribal hand. Some permeation of ink, though this does not affect legibility. Bookplates of Richard Towneley of Towneley Hall, Lancashire, and William Horatio Crawford of Lakelands, Cork, also a leather label with the initials 'AHA'.
