It appears to relate to, and possibly derive from an early 16th century tract with the same title written by Patrick Finglas, Baron of the Exchequer in Ireland'. See the description in Christie's note in an archival envelope. A single scribal hand. Some permeation of ink, though this does not affect legibility. Bookplates of Richard Towneley of Towneley Hall, Lancashire, and William Horatio Crawford of Lakelands, Cork, also a leather label with the initials 'AHA'.
