Binding Note: | Binding: gold-tooled calf from the William Hallhead bindery. The Trinity arms stamped on all covers. Border wavy roll of flowers and shamrocks, illustrated in McDonnell and Healy (Hallhead R. 1) Distinctive corner flower tool, illustrated in Craig, plate 50. The spine has five bands and six compartments. A red lettering piece in the second and green numbering piece in the third. The others are ornately tooled. quartered with opposite tools matching. A triple roll at the base. Comb-marbled endleaves. the edges stained green. Some joints are a little weak. |
