Transcripts made by Martin Ross (Violet Martin) of autograph notes of James Martin of Ross, written on blank leaves of a 1764 copy of Watson's Almanack. In addition to biographical information, the notes record events on the Ross Estate, 1765-1769. Martin Ross adds her own annotations to relate the information to contemporary conditions at Ross.
