Roll-tooled borders forming a bold design with swags, palmettes and coil motiffs; large corner tulips. Arms of George III, stamped in the centre, with the Prince of Wales plumes above, and the Irish harp below. Flat spine gold-tooled to five compartments with the date tooled in the second.
