| Binding Note: | Binding: gold-tooled red goat-skin by Joseph Leathley's binder, with centre lozenge built up of small tools and gouges. Double fillet border enclosing small corner tool. The spine has five gold-tooled bands and six gold-tooled compartments, with a brown lettering-piece in the second. Comb-marbled endleaves and gilt edges. Rebacked, with the original spine-strip laid down. Illustrated in McDonnell and Healy, Plate X; individual tools are identified. |
