Binding Note:Binding: contemporary Irish white vellum gold-tooled. Thistle roll, possibly McDonnell and Healy's Leathley R21; two other tools from the same source are used in the broad border, a crown tool (number 6) and stylised flower (number 12). Flat spines with alternating compartments of a triple roll, and a large eight point flower formed of shells and flames emanating from a star. Red and blue lettering-pieces, comb-marbled endleaves and gilt edges.
