| Binding Note: | Binding: Dublin gold-tooled red morocco. Broad-tooled border, with corner insect tool . Lozenge built up of small tools. The spine has five bands and six gold-tooled compartments, with olive lettering piece in the second. Dutch decorated endpapers. Compare border on Pine's Horace in this library and illustrated in McDonnell and Healy, plate LXXXIII by an 'unknown binder'. Gilbert Library 908; this copy has two volumes the second apparently published in 1751. |
