Binding Note: | Binding: richly gold-tooled Dublin red morocco. Inlaid paper lozenge with a geometrical pattern formed by over-lapping pointille gouges and interspersed tools. Large star-shaped corner motifs composed of a repeated tool. Border of over-lapping small pointille gouges within fillets, The spine had five bands and six gold-tooled compartments, with a green lettering-piece in the second, Comb-marbled endleaves and gilt edges, Joints restored. Preserved in a green morocco box. |
