Elongated lozenge; the centre formed with quadrant fan tools; an outer frame of vesicae stained black; vase and crown tools at upper and lower ends. The vase is repeated in the corners. The spine has five bands and six gold-tooled compartments, with olive -brown lettering-piece in the second. comb-marbled endleaves and gilt edges.
