Binding Note:Binding: Dublin gold-tooled red morocco. Broad tooled border with bird tool, outer border of over-lapping gouges within double fillets. Elongated lozenge; the centre formed with quadrant fan tools; an outer frame of vesicae stained black; vase and crown tools at upper and lower ends. The vase is repeated in the corners. The spine has five bands and six gold-tooled compartments, with olive -brown lettering-piece in the second. comb-marbled endleaves and gilt edges. Illustrated in McDonnell and Healy, plate XXXI and identified as the work of McDonnell and Healy, plate XXXI, identified as the work of Joseph Leathley's binder; individual tools are identified .
