Bibliography:Signature on the end flyleaf of James Connell, apothecary, The Meath Hospital. Some dust-staining, otherwise good. Binding: green vellum; spine corners repaired and new label attached. There are list of subscribers, giving their addresses and subscriptions. There are reports of the meetings of the governors, with lists of those present and the resolutions taken. Accounts of expenditure are given. Recurring items on the lists: coal, ticken, flannel, shag, towe, bee's wax, candles, straw, hog's lard. brooms and twigs, Peruvian bark. Note: Arthur Guinness appears on lists of subscribers and on various committees. He is listed as treasurer 1775-1797. On December 4, 1787, G 200 was lent to Richard Guinness on his bond and mortgage of certain premises in Dublin. There is mention also of Richard Guinness. KK3 F637
