Binding Note:Binding: contemporary gold-tooled calf, with the Trinity arms stamped on the covers. The spine has five bands and six compartments, with a red lettering-piece in the second. The remaining compartments are quartered opposite tools match. Marbled endleaves and edges stained green.
Bibliography:Woodcut headpiece. From the library of Walter Armytage, Halston. Tervoe bookplate. Title a little stained. Part of the complete set of a Hawkey's Classics presented to William Thomas Monsell as a Trinity prize in 1771. The five volumes are uniformly bound and each has the Trinity presentation ticket.
