Binding Note: Binding: bound for the Duke of York. Dublin gold-tooled red straight-grained morocco. Border fillets and roll. The royal arms is stamped at the top of the cover; the lower section is densely tooled all-over with tiny circles and serpent coils. 'Field Marshall, His Royal Highness the Duke of York' is tooled on the upper cover. Flat spine gold-tooled to five compartments, with green lettering-pieces in the second and fourth. Marbled endleaves and gilt edges lightly guaffered.
